Well, got a new hub from eBay fitted that and it was all good...

Went and got fuel one evening and took it for it a blast and the linkage buggered. One of the ball joints popped leaving me with 3rd and at a push 5th

Then, the wipers packed in on me in massive down pour

So this morning, changed the joint on the linkage, bodged up some wiring for the speedo and sorted the tracking

That was all good, then I heard a squeal from the front wheel - calliper carrier is sitting against the disc looks like another wheel bearing is gone?

Anyone know any valid reason why my car is munching its way through bearings? Help

It's the O/S one this time though - haven't touched that!

There is a slim chance it's not I guess, I'll jack up it the morn and see if there's a heap of play in the bearing

Other than that, I should be able to drive it further than 2 miles now

Fruit - engine runs perfect now, lifters are a little noisy but they were sitting dry for 5 months so I'll let them off

Jordan - suspected wheel bearing issue on the O/S now will jack it up later today to see if it is that, hopefully not...

Conversion kit orginall came from Chris Astley, got a bad hub from him - was around 0.5mm undersize

I thought his hubs had to be used with his "Gp 'A' front wheel bearings"?

Didn't think it was strictly necessary, when I say they are noisy, they are no worse than any other XE I've ever heard...

Not sure about Astley's hubs TBH, could just be one that accidently slipped through QC

They were both fitted when I got them, I can't understand why it's happening?

You got any ideas?
