air flow is needed on a dyno to replicated the car on the road

4] the STANDARD internal size throttle body is 35mm and then
changed to a 44mm internal size throttle body this means it is
now 9mm bigger than STANDARD, then taper ported the 44mm
internal size throttle body to 49mm then this makes it now 49mm
so this would mean that now the throttle body is 15mm bigger than
the 35 mm internal size STANDARD throttle body and yes the inlet
manifold where the throttle body bolts on to is also 49mm internal size,

this makes the throttle body 15mm bigger than STANDARD, so chip
what you are saying is a 15mm bigger throttle body will not do any thing
at all, if this is what you are saying then you guys who put bigger throttle bodys on your engines according chip will not make a difference = WRONG



the ecu learns the new set up as you drive on the road this takes
between 50miles and 150 miles depending on how you drive and
as for the jetted fuelling this can be done a few ways either change
to a bigger injector or you can adjust the tps sensor for fine fuelling
and the adjustable fpr for delivering more fuel though the same size
injector and as for the timing you advance or retard the distributor = RIGHT

2] at the mo the cylinder head has 0.5mm/ 20 thou skimmed of the cylinder head and might get some more skimmed off = RIGHT

3] the cylinder head has been ported the exhaust ports are 38mm
inside diameter and the inlet ports had most of the work done above
the valve head and the inlet port entrance has been lined up with the
inside area of the inlet manifold gasket, if you make the inlet ports to
big then you loose velocity then this means the engine will only work
in the upper rpm range or not work at all = RIGHT, AND YES HAVE
LOADS OF PHOTO'S OF THE CYLINDER HEAD

1] how do you know what cam i will be running this is for me
to know =RIGHT

5] 1 litre to 1.6 litre engine you only need to change the
exhaust valve 1mm bigger in size and leave the inlet valve
the standard size. = RIGHT

OK, get it on the dyno and prove what you have done has made a noticable difference, until then, this is just pub talk at its best.

If he says he has a dyno printout then we will laugh at him for being a twat that thinks he has 150BHP.

If he says he hasn't got a dyno printout then we will laugh at him for being a twat that thinks he has 150BHP with nothing to substantiate it.

just make sure the dyno has a airflow of 120,000 cfm over the car then this is the same as being on the road, road dyno ftw

Jesus H Christ! I've never ever read such a waffling load of old bollocks in a long time. I've not been on CS for ages, but saw a link to this thread somewhere, so expect it to be on every car forum world-wide within a matter of weeks.

Where do you get your ridiculous amounts of pointless information? Tuning a 1.4 SPi in itself is somewhat retarded, but the anal length to which you're going regarding SPi throttle sizing and airbox fin trimming is about as pointless as cleaning graffiti from a scate park!

You fail at tuning.
