Dan, Grow the fuck up.

Glad its fixed, I hope those newman cams have a smear of oil on just to make sure they stay perfect.

Give it a good proper rag and see how it goes.

Cheers guys!

Well the corsas been on the road for a week now! So glad to finally have it back out again Loving it. had a slight mishap on its first outing when the gearlinkage come off...oops. Managed to craw it back home and fixed it in 10 minutes luckily. It turned out that the little T bar had just popped out so it was a nice easy fix.

It had been driving perfect uptil yesterday though and its now decided to have an idle/revving problem I first noticed it yesterday when I was parking the car as it started revving by itself. Thought nothing of it and came back to the car an hour later to start it and it revved right up! It calmed itself down after 5 seconds or so but then I could feel the car trying to go by itself on the way home and it would start revving up when pulling upto junctions etc. Only does it when its warmed though I'm thinking its probably an airleak so I'm going have a look in a minute.

On another note I also collected some new doors for it last night Massive thanks goes to Dan-sport who drove me there to collect them! Cheers again mate! Was a proper tight fit trying to get them both in the back of his saxo but we got there in the end lol

Little bit miffed with the chap I bought them off though. I specifically asked him if there was any rust and he assured me there wasn't. Turns out the passenger side has started bubbling on the front bottom corner. The drivers side also has a slight crease in the exact same place but both problems should be easily sorted when I take them to the bodyshop

Also thought I'd stick up my list to work through before PVS

1. Wire in rev counter
2. Wire in speedo transducer
3. Respray D/S chassis leg
4. Get the new doors resprayed
5. Respray slam panel
6. Tiger seal rear arches down
7. TX Autosport alloy rad
8. New 10” Slimline fan + rad ties
9. Respray oil dip stick handle
10. Fit edging surround to false floor
11. Respray airfilter
12. Full machine polish
13. Repaint callipers
14. New side repeaters
15. New windscreen

How the car stands now. Still surprisingly shiny considering I havent washed it in 6 months!

Roll on MK!

Cheers Daz! I know what you mean, I spent ages looking! other than those two little niggles these are perfect. Much better base's to work with than my current ones anyway and im sure the bodyshop will be able to put them right without any trouble

Cheers Donner, the doors were £25 each bud
