TBH id rather weight in the rear....that way id get oversteer....not understeer.

Lift off over steer is caused by weight transfer, less weight over the rear the easier it slides, but the lighter it is the harder it is to control.

I beg to differ steve with the rear seats and rest of the gubins in once it began to slide its alot harder to get it back or so ive found anyway.

I think I will notice a difference with my seats out, because with my 1.0L 12v, I can really feel it much slower with passengers.

I've taken the seat out of the back, but I can't get the back rest out

Can anyone please U2U me on how to do this? As I have lost my manual

just pull and were ever its not comming out there will be a bold, It a split fold??

Theres a 19mm bolt in the middle and I m sure on mine there were a few torx bolts on either side

if they are the same as a nova...u need to undo a bolt either side at the bottom from inside the boot. iirc

I've taken off the two plastic covers at each side, now I'm left with the hinge at each side.

I need to remove it from there. I'll try take a picture if I can find the camera.

u need to take some kind of clip or screww that stops the seat from coming out/off the hinge if u get me.

The rear back rest is heavy... ish, but the actual seat doesn't way much at all.

Going to take my spare wheel out for tonight, and I'll let you know what it feels like

Wont taking weight out of the rear of a standard corsa brake like horse poo. With no weight the rear load bias valve will ahve little to no effect and so youll only be using the front brakes, meaning you have to brake earlier!?

Probably wrong but just a thought.

Ive noticed some people put their own bias valves in, is this to compensate for this? And do you still ahve the spring loaded bias valve if you use rear discs?

just remove the spring that holds the valve open/closed and fix it in the required position permanently.

I think the argument has matured into how much of a difference it makes, some seem to think it will knock 0.006675 seconds off a 1/4 mile others dont
