My mate's saxo VTS does 14 flats

There's a not a chance he'd be doing times like that on the 1/4 mile if it wasn't stripped out. But then again that's COMPLETELY stripped, not just seats out and parcel shelf.

Obviously going the full hog as i said will be noticeable.

But just the rear i can't see how it is noticable. And no i don't think having a passenger makes my GTI any slower although i wouldn't normally go as mad with someone else in the car.

I never refer to my Nova as 'the yellow car', it's 'the Nova'.

and my car was better round corners than a full trimmed car, and faster in a straight line

there is also one reason mine could keep up with xe's to 70-80ish, it weighed fuck all

What do you mean lack of argument? I was only stating my opinion from personal experience! My mate 850cc mini feel fucking rapid, because it has nothing in it and the 5 inches from tarmac, really it's just an illusion!

My mates DC5 has been stripped in the rear, made fuck all difference. IT's everybody else arguing with my point.

I don't doubt that, but do you think it would have kept up with xe's if it only had the rear shit removed? NO! Do you think the handling would of been noticeably different with only the rear shit removed? I doubt it.

no, as it would still have 2 seats in the front which weighed 12kg each etc etc, it will make a diffrence, and PF magazine proved

Just a stripped rear still makes a world of difference since the center of gravity is shifted.

steve, you moron, PF did a test, they timed nicks S2 standard

then they removed the sub, the boot carpet, all the cleaning stuff in it, and all the loose bits in the car like bottles etc blah blah, it was quicker when timed

then they removed the rear seats are door cards = quicker

then they removed the capret and front seats, and put a bucket in, guess what quicker
