Yeah, 1.2 injector + a new lambda should sort it fine.

Phil, theres a good chance of that tbh, as the car hasnt been that hot in two years, it was sitting in the MOT station getting 3.5k revs for near an hour, plus severe thrashing for 30 miles to try and get it to pass the emissions.

Overall disaster tonight.

Snapped GSI bumper, hanging on by one mount, which is fucked anyway.

Snapped exhaust bolts, manifold needs to come off, will be more snapped bolts.

I hate this car.

Snapped it clean off there, popped it off along all the bottom mounts, lost all the screws.

Dont know how the fuck it caught, coming off the ramp after doing the sump, caught somehow and ripped it off, gutted



New sump at least on, manifold came off without snapping bolts surprisingly, getting drilled tomorrow as 1 downpipe bolt snapped.



New oil & filter tomorrow, plus the gaskets. Then fix the bumper, MOT saturday again.

Well, got depos on the way, so will fit them, maybe get some MHW's, thats all Im doing to it then. Can actually legally drive it soon, about 8 days or something

calli leathers and light smoke window tints matey will look beastlly then, specially if u've got the depos and mhw's aswell.

Ive had the standard interior, sport interior & GSI interior in this car, might as well get the leathers too

Well, after a couple of days of disaster, tonight was a bit of a turning point.

So the bumper was like this after last nights accident with the ramp:



Fixed it up tonight, doesnt fit as it was, but its solid again.





Got the manifold back on:



And stripped down the inlet for the new gaskets & injector:



Also put a new oil filter on it tonight, along with some nice new golden oil

Cleaned up my K&N today, oiled it up aswell, like new again.

Hopefully the gaskets & injector will be here tomorrow, then I can fix it up for the MOT Saturday. If it doesnt go in for the MOT Saturday, then I cant get it for my birthday

just read the whole thread car looks great what a diffrence to when u got it, good project,nice to see that your doing all the work your self, where in the highlands are you from mate?

Aye, at times I wish I hadnt bothered, loads of hassle, but its worth it I suppose.
