Can I make my Dell D620 show the screen in full contrast when its not plugged in? I dont really care about battery life 
 
Also, can I disable the higher mouse blue thing and buttons as i always catch it when im typing and it cocks my typing up

I think the answer is probably but if its not in Control Panel - Power Options I don't know where you would find it.  BIOS perhaps?

yeah its not in the control panel... its a works laptop and i cant even change the clock so BIOS is a likely no no

Fn key + the up and down buttons, also in the bios, can also probably set it in quickset.
