aircon model one is bigger, and yes, should help the engine run cooler.

why do you want it to run cooler though? what temp is it running at?

so it's not hot, or cold?

running it too cold will damage it as much as running it too hot...

Can get low running fan switches. They would be better than a Cool running stat.

Right?

I heard the optimum running temp for a 4stroke is 77oC. What's the truth in that?

Right?

if you dont have a stat aswell you wont have circulation though the rad untill about 92degress thus making a 80degree fs for example useless.

ieal running temp for these engines is 90-100 degrees. they will handle up to 115degress with them being a pressurised system.

a cool running stat and fan switch is the best idea but not needed really. on 3 bars its probably running at about 95 degrees as long as the fan is coming on and the stat is opening as it should then all is fine.

YES!

Just make sure the coolant is a decent mix and the fan and stat are known good.

I replaced the thermostat as a matter of principle before I did the conversion for the cost of them.
