pmsl, matt, dont get poly carb windows if your worried about security, they can be opened in seconds, my car has no alarm or door locks so its the least of my worries to be honest, the lack of steering rack (sorry adam d ill post money tomorrow) will make robbing it rather hard

they just slide open you can drill a small hole in the slider and put a pin in to secure it, but that is to much like hard work.

indeed, iv removed so much weight today, the glass itself isnt much heaver than the poly carb, but there is a noticable difference, but the loss of the metal runners, window reg, mech etc all adds up to a fair bit. if i was that bothered id go buy some scales and tell you all, but i cant be arsed

no, need to cut the complete inside of the door out first, but im not doing that yet, will take the car to work when the engine is ready to fit and get the death wheel on it. fancy getting the rest of the cage done but not sure if i can afford it along with the engine

do it. sell the stuff you have laying about (r/c car, manifold, alex, tinted glass, golf) then get it done properly. will be wel worth it if you do

pmsl at that list, alex and golf sadly cant be sold unless replaced with similar or better items..... shhhhhhhhhh!
i have tinted sport glass, full leccy window kit, full central locking kit, head, cams, all this needs to go, but no fucker wants to pay for it.

I work with Polycarb at work btw before anyone comes up with smart comments.
Not ideal for the Uk weather either and easily scratched, I would get some venturi film put on them.
They do lok good though and suit the purpose in hand.

end of the day you dont fit these windows if you plan to leave your car in a shopping center or on the road over night. these are UV protected, so cant see why they arnt ideal for uk weather

im financially broke, old engine killed my bank balance lol!
oh, credit card is maxed too lol
i do alot of over time and get paid in car parts so that also helps
