Indeed, but even then there was a discussion on pf the other week about having that done is pointless

i wouldnt say pointless as when they knife edge it it gets lighter aswell

yep, but they where saying the actual knife edge process doesnt actully gain you anything or help

knife edging does make it easier to cut thru oil, think if you had a boat with a flat front it is hard to push thru the water, or a boat with a pointy front....... i know what id rather have!

the oil in a dry sump is kept in a seperate tank, and the engine is sealer off, i.e. breathers oil filler cap etc, and the engine is presurised with the oil from the tank....

well rods are now sold, new ones will be purchased soon, pistons are purchasd, just waiting on delivery.

also ordered some swanky new coilovers, should see them next wednesday!

hummm..... getting there! just need to stop spending for a while and try and put some parts together!

looking at lee's nova progress has made me want to sort the interior out a bit and the suspension, got a few ideas but nothing to major! just to tidy things up and save a bit of weight!

ill just go to the money tree again will i! bloody things got no leaves left on it after today! coilovers will be ace tho! got them at a good price, bilstein pss-9 kit.

you been watching too much american hot rod or something!


i know i need a better manifold, but i can sort that out at a later date, will want a coolio exhauts soon and then map it, want to get it running and run in etc!

I'm assuming Standard gti / Vts rods are a bit more substantial compared to corsa ones?

My car gets regularily taken to 7800 rpm and car hasn't blown itself apart yet.
