you can do it through the multi plug, u have to drive where the gap is, be very careful what ur doing as all the central lockin and alarm wires are in there..
it is a very tight fit so be prepared to alot of fiddling around

to get a wire from my door to the boot of my car, i went through the engine bay like so....

if you look behind your front speakers, there is a gap at the bottom inside bit of the door, the wire goes through there and up. out of the door and then into the engine bay as shown in the pics. then through the normal places

that looks good, but ideally i'd want the wires to be hidden, for more of a factory look. il have a go at the multiplug idea, and then see from there

drilling out the multiplug is the only "clean" way to do it. Just make sure u drill out the same area on each half of the plug then feed the wire thru and plug it back together and the wire will come out in the kick panel (dont 4get 2 pull out the rubber cable pipe and put a slit rite in the end so the cable can escape inside the footwell

If you're already got central locking and electric windows then you've less room in the multi-plug but yeah, drilling a hole in each end of that is the way to go.
If you were really feeling fancy you could get one from the scrappy, strip it down and see what type of pins are in the plug, buy some fresh ones (or rescue your scrappy ones - fiddly) and use them.
This is the only solution which will allow the door to be removed without the wires being cut.
Whatever do you, make sure there's no opportunity for the wire to fray.
