are the cables for the gearbox speedo sender (x16xe) part of the engine loom or on a different loom?

reason is, im putting a gearbox from a 1999 car, into a car that ran on a cable driven box. any advice?

heres some pics, where should the sender be?

just put the cable mechanical sensor into the new box

and this will work?

BOLLOCKS JUST BOUGHT SOME ELECTRONIC CLOCKS AND SOLD MY OLD CABLE DRIVEN ONES!

how many wires connect the electronic sender to the clocks? ill make a new loom up for it.


is it just me, or do other people make lots of extra work for themselves

one wire, blue with a red stripe, one to a switched live and an earth i think

where shoul the sender be?

p.s yes i do know fuck all about gearboxes.............but engines, thats a different matter

check the diff for a gearbox drive my 99 corsa had the hall effect type speed sensor
