Ok, i found the tutorial on here, and searched through a few posts. When i put a 4.5 mm drill bit in the hole on top of the gearbox it doesnt lock anything, thats also getting someone to move the linkage around.
Another post said that you need to put the car into 2nd then lock it putting a pin through the hole under the gear gaitor, then lock it from the bit ontop of the gearbox, then tighten up the bolt underneath. Did this and nothing happened but it didnt feel like the drill bit on top of the gear box was locking anything up.
Any help appreciated as i still have minimal gears!!
Cheers...... Steve.

- Undo the linkage bolt from under car,
- take out the plastic pin from gearbox,
- twist the bit coming out of the box towards the passenger side while pushing the 4.5mm drill bit in the hole
- once this has locked, lift the gaiter round the gearstick, and align the two holes in the plastic bit and put a screw or something through the top to keep them in that place.
- tighten the linkage nut from under the car
- remove the drill bit and the thing you locked the stick with
you should now have your gears back

Sorry but what bit do you twist whilst pushing the drill bit in?
