Started my car this morning and it stalled straight away making the whole car shake. Tried starting it again and it kept going but whole car was shaking really bad! as i reved the engine it seemed ok, but when back at idle it started shaking again! Drove it as it was as needed to get to work and after bout 5 mins it run fine as a whistle!?! Was even fine on the way home after it had been sitting for bout 6 hours? Any1 got ne ideas?
My dad said something about the wind blowin in the grille at night causing the engine to get really cold and condensation to form? but not really sure!

If its OK at higher revs then the problem may be to do with the spark as at speed the engine will combust under compression alone.

a new 1.2 8v engine will be cheaper, unless u sort it yourself:
head gasket set 30-40 quid
head bolts 10 quid
cambelt 15 quid
head skimming 20 quid
And enough beer to see the job thru, 24 budweiser usually sorts it

i kno a vaux mechanic that says he will do it cos rear main oil seal needs doing to, wants 4 days to do it jus wantin to kno wot i shud expect.
tho i aint even sure its gone there is only a very small amount of salad cream where the oil goes and the oil on the dipstick is perfectly clean, also a flowing water noise happens when it starts
