Right need a definate answer to this now...

Valver engine with F20 Box

Corsa X-reg electro speedo

How do you get it to work? My transponder off my F13 had a hall effect sensor on it so supposedly wont work.
Tried a Astra GTE transponder and that's reading approx half what im doing.
Tried some alleged corsa one which was lying around a scrap yard and that was even further out... PIC...

I really DONT want to have to source mechanical clocks and run cable speedo, someone MUST have done this on a late Corsa B?

i gave up trying it on mine and kept with my 1.2 gearbox(mechanical speedo) mated 2 my 1.6 sport engine

Doubt theres anything you can do without maybe pulling the gearbox to bits and fitting the electric parts

it really isnt that much hassle to changer your dials and install the mechanical cable....

yes but theres a different part in the box ie the cable one will have a cog tyoe thing where as the electric one will use a magnety type thing i assume

ive never seen one but i would assum the transducer just clips/screws onto the thing on the gearbox the speedo cable normally screws onto? and then converts the drive from the gearbox to an electrical signal?

but the later corsa's have no moving parts in the transducer where as the older ones and the astra digi do

i had this problem when i had a 1999 engine put in my 94 car

nah the let has f20 box with cable drive so put the digi dash transducer in for my digi dash

my x16xe had the leccy drive which worked with the digi dash but think it was 1/16th out

the diff needs to come out and you take the ring gear off and put a trigger ring back on the diff either one out of a late vectra with an f20 or i had my diff machined so i could put my f13 trigger ring on it put it back together and bobs ya uncle n all that

when i changed my engine the speedo drive that came with the gearbox was the electric type, and it didnt contain no moving parts, it works on the hall effect principal
