Can anyone tell me if they have had a previous conviction of driving without insurance, and the penalty they received? I'm just wondering what i should be saying in court, guess il have to get a solicitor but there must be a few out there that have been in the same position.

Thats a joke for the minimum. The minimum should be double what you would have paid for insurance. A 160 quid fine is nothin when you should be payin maybe 1000+ insurance. Thats not gonae deter them.

if i plead guilty and just apologise and all that, say i need it for work and colleage, iv heard that helps reduce it, in some cases quite considerably.
