can anyone help my sri 1400,8 valve driveshafts are knackered will the 1400, 16valve driveshafts fit please help me

does it depenend on what gearbox is fitted

No, as all small block gearboxes use the same shafts. IE, Corsa GSi shafts will fit yours. Only thing you have to watch is if you have ABS, if you don't, it doesn't matter, but if you do, you need to check the outer CV has an ABS ring.
