ive got a Corsa B Gsi 1.6 16v, the discs are mashed and need replacing!

wat shall i get and wat brand? as theirs so many!

im thinking of either jus getting standard vauxhall gm ones or some high performance cross driled discs with high performance pads?? wats the diffrence between these and the standard vauxhall gm ones???

is it worth the extra money??
do they last as long as Vauxhall ones??

and wats difference between, vented, crossed, drilled and cross-drilled discs!??

calipers are a lot better plus the discs have a larger vented section in the middle. calipers which make the main difference though.

2.0l brakes go under 14's easy - as mine have before!

I recomend the V6 kit, DONT believe the scare stories of the master cylinder/servo not coping with these! I recently fitted a set to mine after previously running the 2.0l ones and OMG how they stop you! Standard V6 discs (re-drilled) standard GM pads and new V6 calipers cost me £195 from Steve at LMF. You only have to look at how much more surface area the pads have over the 2.0l jobs and you know your talking business!

Just ensure you bleed them properly and you'll still get a very good pedal feel, for good measure add some braided hoses and your away.

I will soon be able to supply Goodridge braided hoses at a VERY competetive rate as im an Official Goodridge Dealer, so if anyone wants some give me a shout

i dont think the v6 brakes will fit under my 14inch alloys mate, otherwise i would get them, but im really jus looking for a cheap brake kit for now and saw this one which is really cheap and a 2ltr 16v spec so its better

im waiting to get some nice 17inch alloys an then will put some big nice brakes on.

so that"16v 256mm" kit will deffinatly fit under my factory Gsi alloys on my corsa Gsi 1.6 16v

WTF that sounds DODGY! Either his card machine broke or his credit account has been stopped?

Anyhow your right, the V6 kit will not fit under 14" GSi alloys so therefore the 2.0 16V ATE kit should sse you good, however when those 17's come you'll wish you had bigger...
