1. On top of the gearbox you will see the selector housing. You will need to remove the securing pin by squeezing the two retaining lugs. This will release the linkage from the selector.

2. Under the car... find the gearchange rod and undo the clamp bolt on the sleeve which connects the arm to the linkage.

3. Release the spring clip and remove the pin from the rear engine mount and the linkage should be totally free
