basically when my car isnt in gear it seems to idle at between 1200 - 2000 revs, it doesnt do it all the time though, anyone have any ideas?

Also when i get in it sometimes it is a bit jerky to start off with.

its a corsa sri 8v.

from first impressions its sounds like you mite have a faulty ICV (Idle Control Valve)
