I wish i had as much knowledge with engines, etc as u guys do, especially the peeps who do engine transplants yourselves!

How do u all know so much?

getting out there and doing it yourself is the best way,simple stuff.... have a scan thru the haynes beofre you do it, the corsa engines are very simple. doing an engine swap is easy too, just need to guts to pull it out!

i learnt alot from my dad, helped him work on his cars from a young age.... all helps!

but dont be scared of giving it a go yourself, make sure you have the tools to complete the job before you start. nothing more annoying than getting mid way thru a job and finding you dont have the tools to complete the job!

yeah - would like 2 do more stuff myself.

trouble is - there ain't really much engine mods u can do 2 my car (the Z14XE corsa c engine)

i have a habit of taking stuff apart for no reason what-so-ever...... looking at how it works then putting it back together with half the amount of bolts.

the love of cars does it for me, if i see something it just sticks and i never for get.

plus for the fact that if you dont do it your seft the prices of jobs would be silly so that also gives me a kick up the arse to have ago, but i do enjoy it

trouble wiv my engine (and the newer corsa engines) u can't really take it apart easily like u can wiv the corsa b engines

I didn't even know how an engine worked until I completely stripped one and put it back together. I didn't even know how to fit a 2.0 engine into a Corsa before I gave it a go. I don't have a clue what I'm doing bodywork wise either, yet I still do it...

Er, I'm what some might call reckless, I prefer to call it experimenting...
