As above realy.
Car just dies after a few minutes at idle or driving, and won't restart for between two and ten minutes.
Any ideas on the subject would be gratefully received thanks folks.

Crank sensor probably mate, will start up again if you let it cool down.

Do you know if there's an easy test for this other than fitting a new unit?
Also, is it located timing chain end mate?

Oh right. Sorry, didn't realise.
He's not based anywhere near Greenwich in London is he?

Its on the underside of the car behind the sump at the back of the block. Its only a 5 minute job, nah im not sure if there is a way of testing it. Any management light on?

Aparently the EPS light comes on just as/before it stalls Joe.
