Im having a few problems getting my car into gear sometimes, mostly 1st 3rd and reverse. I had similar problems on my old corsa and i actually snapped the linkage one day

Is this hard to change on the x16xe? Vaux want £190 fitted.

They also said it could be the clutch, apparently the clutch pedal should be level with the brake pedal? is that true?

just needs adjusting probably. buy a haynes manual.
