Getting a 1.8 sxi+ soon, heard some bad reports about the gearbox on it, what is the best gearbox vauxhall do or that will fit the engine if i need to change it

you cant really pik and chooose your gearbox,its a modern car the choice will be limited as each gearbox is set for that engine and they have the fly by wire throttle,making the job complicated

btw what sorta power are these 1800 corsa's? much faster than the 1600 16v corsa b?

the sxi has around 127hp,relly quick and can be mistaken for a 1.2 c ,so quite the sleeper, it wud be be quicker than the gsi or sport m8i

yeah there fast car fair do's my mate has one.. and mines only just as quick as mine has lexmaul and semi stripped
