Do people with powerfull cars/big power 2.0 corsas find they have to double clutch when cold to get smooth gear changes?

never had to...



but i did kill 2 gearboxes by changing the gear too quick/harsh...

what the heel does not when changing gear, but when pulling away i do sometimes

Why the hell would you even touch the clutch if you were'nt changing gear (aprt from stopping)

The skyline is a but tough to get into 1st and 2nd when the tranny fluid is cold..... a double cluth sometimes helps... not sure why, but it does

you should never need to double declutch very few clutches need you to do this.

It was suggested i do this on SN as i tend to let the car warm up on a morning and ive been told not to.

Instead of just changing gear, clutch down then into neutral, then clutch down again and into gear.

clutch in..

put from 1st to neutral.

clutch up.

clutch back down

neutral to 2nd

clutch back out.
