What engines and what are the specs for them?
Are they reliable etc.
Seem to be going quite cheap these days and presume they are good on fuel.
Any general info on them

Yeah I was thinking they might be quite reliable as most diesels generally are!
Wouldn't mind something like that for tooling back and forwards to work in and generally not having to worry about getting car park damage etc. and also good on fuel

tends to double as the team backup vehicle... get it to 100 on the motorway and it'd go round the world twice

Is it a TD? I know there is a 1.5 and a 1.7 but some 1.5s seem to say TD and some dont?
Could get a 1.7 and put a Cav 1.7TD engine in it

There's a 1.5 D, 1.5 TD and 1.7 D Corsa, IIRC.

Do the turbos cost alot to replace or is that not a problem on them even if high mileage?

Dunno be the first and try it. Then sell it to me when all the teething troubles have been sorted

Got the 1.5TD and I must say it is very good on fuel compared to the 1.2 8v and also pulls more obviously. Only drawback is its sound but you'll live with that Make sure you get the TD and not the D
