Hey guys, had first driving lesson last night, i can drive already but have driven all petrol cars before, and im learning in a diesal 1.5

The thing is, it felt soooo strange, it felt sluggish and horrible to drive, and i thought their all meant to feel the same? Both petrol and diesel nowadays?

Also, reversing i didnt have to give the diesel any throttle for it to reverse, just let off the clutch slightly and it moves backwards, the instructor said this is the case for any diesel? Which i cant see really?

That right?

Diesels are much harder to stall therefore easier for learners to drive in. I dont know about newer diesels but from my experience older diesels are very sluggish on the pedals

You viololated basic police laws, You were in charge of a high powered motor vehicle with no documentation. Your not in spain now, you must now drive like an englishman or be extradited back there.
