Reina, Arbeloa, one of Carra, Agger and Skrtel, Mascherano....would all get in the squad.

Reina, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard and Torres would all walk into the United starting 11 IMO.

Carragher would walk straight into the Utd squad, and into the first team at right back. I'm aware he's not a massive fan of it but he used to play there a lot, and played there well! As would Mascherano get into the squad, and I'd play him before Carrick!

As red tinted as my glasses are, carrick is the only possible one who you could argue is better than either of them. IMO he isnt. The rest certainly arent.

Hargreaves hasnt been fit for the last 2yrs, and doubtful he ever will be, so not much channce of that.

Anyway, Hargreaves plays in a similar role to Masch, not Alonso.
