In case anyone is bored over the break, have a go at making a paper E20  I've printed it off on A3 at work so it'll be nice and big, just need to get started.

Because he was slower than Button today? Maybe it was to do with his car as it had a completely different wing setting to Button (which from the talk before the race was a bit of a gamble) so it just looks like he was very lucky with the gamble working out.
This is the year that IMO the car is all important. Doesn't matter how good a driver you have if the car is not right they do not perform.

He can never produce a fantastic time over just the 1 lap.
Messed up his first run so came in, went back out and messed up again.
Can't handle the pressure.

Hamilton has done some stonking single hotlaps before, just went the wrong way on setup today.
Still an awesome lap from JB, even on the same setup that would have taken some beating IMO. Hopefully Malintent doesn't ruin the start tomorrow and hopefully Hamilton can get round Alonso early.
Some good points up for grabs here with the RB's so low down.

Its great to see JB back on pole after so long and also gives a good indication that the new rear wing on his car has been a nice step forward for the team. Lewis opted for the older rear wing and unfortuantely it didnt pay off. However, I expect to see lewis on the move, he wont give up without a fight

Slightly too agreesive for my liking. I can see him getting something for the next race for that one due to the outcome of it.
He just left Hamilton no-where to go, Hamilton couldn't even just brake to drop behind because gorsjeans rear tyre was in the way.

he had no room to move anywhere
it was either go onto the grass and crash or keep going straight.
antony davidson slowed it down and you can quite clearly see grosjean keeps moving over just before the tyres touch.
grosjeans a complete idiot and coming across like that in the first place was dangerous in itself.
glad button won, glad kimi finished well but proper pissed hamilton once again gets a DNF due to another drivers idiocy.

Quite surprised Grosjean got banned for that though, theres been much more dangerous moves that havent been punished as harshly, he just happened to make a small mistake that resulted in a very dangerous crash because of the short run followed by tight hairpin.
Race itself was pretty decent with some good overtaking.
