yea I find a lot of the build-up just time filling until Brundle does his walk

I do like the snippets Kravitz does as it normally contains interesting information about the car setup, new features etc.

Massive well done to Perez too! Shame Alolnso got so far up. 3 wins in a row for Mclaren though gives some hope that Lewis could win this. Just need to not make any mistakes.

So jealous of Kyle right now That atmosphere looks incredible. The roar when Alonso stepped up to be interviewed, amazing.

Loved it when he took the camera

I'll do a proper post/review when I get home but it was an awesome weekend.

The Tifosi are brilliant, they love the ferraris and schumi but they also cheer for anybody who completes an overtake or gets fastest lap etc.

We had loads of McLaren support in our stand, so we held our own. Vettel retiring had the whole grandstand on their feet though

We didn't bother trying to leg it for the podium but we did walk around the track clockwise to pick up some rubber and a few nuts and bolts

hamilton : cool, calm, collected.

button: cool, calm, shit luck.

perez: nice to see a mid table team with such an exciting driver. watching him chase the ferrari's down and then overtake them made me very happy.

vettel karma you cunt.

The one race I can't watch cause of physio turns out to be one of the best! Fuck it! Was funny to see a pic of Alonso with a £30k TV camera, would have laughed my hole off if he dropped it!

Wall of Pics! Full album of the weekend here.

Merchandise!

Me looking like a proper hooligan...

Video on the pit straight. Wouldn't want to sit here for a race... don't see much for long

Porsche Supercup support race

The local hero, photo taken from the bottom of our grandstand - our proper seats were right at the top

Next years Ferrari

Harry Potter marshalling

The Tifosi getting warmed up

Nico Hulkenberg retired from Quali right in front of us, so hence the walk of shame

My boy on his way to pole

Sky Sports footage of ME just after Lewis got Pole.

GP2 support series, crazy bastards

GP3 support series, went for a wander at this point to the opposite grandstand

The old banked oval of Monza, much steeper than it looks

Free Redbull!

Just after finishing my redbull, a ford focus crawled its way through the crowds - Damon Hill was driving with the window down...no photo though

Back for raceday, I bought myself a McLaren rocket red victory t-shirt to celebrate the pole position

An old Ferrari, old Redbull and current Lotus

Makeshift Gazebo... was hot!

The Screen we could see across from our grandstand, didn't miss any action

Pre-race driver parade

He's totally waving at me

Formation Lap, go Lewis!

JEV crashed out in spectacular style on lap 3, pulled up in front of us

JB, AKA the slow McLaren

Crowd went mad every time this guy drove past, they really love him

Video of the lap after Perez stole second from Alonso - he got quite a good reception from the McLaren fans

Victory! Again, he's totally waving at me

Vettels broken down RB, hohoho

Team Photo, during the post-race track invasion

Theiving bastards

Medical Car

My souveneirs, some kind of bolt and some rubber from a tyre!

Thanks guys, I'm no photographer by a longshot and I think I could have taken some much better ones with a tripod. The closeup picture of the Marussia GP2 car is the result I was aiming for, I increased my shutter speed and panned along with the cars but as I was at ~12X zoom for some of them, keeping a steady enough hand was VERY difficult.

We wandered round most of the grandstands over the weekend and all agreed we had the best one, and sitting at the top is definately the place to be - as you can stand up and be a bit of a knob with your flags The grandstand opposite which we sat in for one of the GP3 events was pretty decent, as you could see more of the braking zone and overtakes but the fence was much closer to the track rather than grandstand meaning it got in your way alot.

If I remember right, costs were as follows:

Flights £120
Hotel £150
Grandstand ticket for all three days £250
Beer £Lost Count

Couldn't have asked for a better result really, I'm a proper Lewis fanboy and seeing 'Nando overtaking so many cars was a great way to experience the Tifosi.

Great pics mate, looks like a really good time

I saw an old Ferrari the same as the one in your pic on Saturday at Silverstone. It sounded absolutely immense There were a few more from other years as well, definitely some with the old 20k rpm engines - what a noise

I see this will be Jake Humphrey's last F1 season. Leaving to do the football coverage on BT Vision next season.

I bet hes seen more doing the footy that he was doing the F1 on BBC.

I can see Virgin giving away the BT Vision channel to try and keep subscribers and then on Sky they will probably do the intro 3 months free like they do with ESPN otherwise no-one bothers watching it

Apparently he's been getting grief from his missus who's either preggers or has just had a kid - either was flying all over the place doing F1 and will be home much more doing the Premiership.

DC's contract ends with BBC too at end of this season, hopefully Sky poach him and BBC just keep Eddie Jordan

Another great quali from the man who "can never produce a fantastic time over just the 1 lap".

Very worrying having Maldonado sat alongside going into the first corner though.

Maldonado won't stay second overnight. He'll wake up in the morning to the sound of his phone ringing, to be told he's been given a 5 place grid penalty due to either an gearbox change or 'impeding' Perez during qualifying.

Awesome Lewis is really on it atm.

Hopefully things continue to go his way tomorrow, if he avoids a t1 tangle with malintent he should have a nice buffer between Teflonso, though i expect Nando to slither his way onto the podium somehow.

Hamilton is looking great recently. I love it when he's on form as he really is the best driver out there (or at least one of with Alonso).

Really hope he sticks with McLaren next year and all his career tbh, would be a shame not to.

Hopefully tomorrow's race will be the usual pole sitters win and boring race just so he can get the points.
