The Merc is certainly very sensitive to running in traffic it would seem, perhaps that's indicative of how aero reliant they really are and the PU isn't the silver bullet!

Nico had some rotten luck, but he's so predictable wheel to wheel. Lewis squeezing him on T1 has happened to him dozens of times now and he never learns. If he just backed out and took a wider entry to T1 he could have had a real run afterwards, or just waited till' DRS on the final straight.

The overtake attempt on Max was a rare site too, although it was botched and ended in dramatic fashion - so many drivers wouldn't have committed so much to either that attack or indeed Max' defense. Kimi should be studying from Max's footage tbh...

DRS is only available from lap 3, Kyle. My guess is he thought his boss would tell him to drop back from Lewis to preserve tyre life, as we've seen Lewis do when behind Nico, so decided to try and Banzai around the outside and yet again fail at it.

Worth a try, but ultimately it was the end of his fight for the lead.

I'm aware Not a big deal to stay close to the 1sec margin for the first three laps, Lewis managed it with Vettel pretty much and that's clean air vs dirty so Nico wouldn't have struggled to stay in DRS range around Canada.

Monaco, Hungary, whatever - I fully get going banzai into T1 as it's probably your only chance of an overtake but not around Canada.

This is Nico we're talking about here. He doesn't appear to be a ''long game'' kinda guy.

Mingebags. I'd risk my life for their wage. They need to just get on with it. It looks great.

I'd just like to point of that Lewis and Vettel seem to have no problem with it racers.

To be fair, general admission for the full weekend at Spa is about £100 too. When I went last year I paid about three times that for a seat on Eau Rouge, but other than for the actual race we were at the GA areas anyway.

There was a bit of banter about who between Sainz and Alonso would finish the season with the most points.

haha, Horner just owned D Hill in a Sky F1 interview

Hill: So do you think Riccardo has been a bit rattled by the entry and successful driving of Max in his team

Horner: I don't think he's any more rattled than you were when Villeneuve joined your team.

Boom!

Well that was fucking dreadful from Lewis. Fuck know's what his problem was, but I"ve never seen someone lock up so much.

Well done Nico and Perez.

No big deal, it's obvious you can overtake pretty easily here.
