Thing is, having talented pl;ayers is all well an good but if theyve got a shit attitude then tbh you can get players with a good attitude but less skill (like me... im jus good at getting the ball of people and getting in the way of shots lol) can be more benficial as they work harder for the team

Beat our local rivals today 3-2

Was a hard fought game with crunching tackles flying in everywhere, all played in a good spirit though, which was good. Got a bit heated at one point though when out striker went for 50/50 with thier keeper, was nearly a 22 man brawl Was a typical derby game, just glad we won, puts up back up to second now 1 point behind them

we drew 2-2.

2-0 down after 60 minutes. Then we managed to get one back and I equalised with about 10 mins to go.

Their defenders were huge though pretty much won every ball put over to me

yes Luigi

on top of that, our other striker was subbed as well. He's a regular and also the team captain!

our team is made up of a mixture of another team that folded. They're all quite old/experienced so I'd feel a bit out of place.

Hopefully he'll just keep me up front, and I'll keep banging the goals in.

4 this season Only had 2 games up front

I didn't celebrate for mine yesterday. Was a weird goal.

Free kick came in and i thought i was offside. One of their defenders flicked it onto me (hence I guess why it wasn't given) and I brought the ball down and just hit it in. not the prettiest of goals i must admit.

I heard the whistle go and assumed he had given it offside. I then see all their players round the ref and he was shaking his head

I slowly walked back to the centre circle and shrugged my shoulders at the manager

We lost 3-2 A game we coul have won... we were 2-1 up at half time (away) with us playing real well and their forwards good but defence and goalie awful but they wanted it 2nd half more than we did The defenders played well but we defended poorly in the 2nd half if that makes sense ?! Once again, I was lino and played the last 5 mins :S Tis ok tho

got a bit of abuse form them on a decision (which was the correct decision by me) and shouted them to fuck off and one of their plyers was booked for absuing an official ref thought he shouted it at me

Not playing next week as Im at Noise an Confusuinon with our goalie and 1 of our central midfielders :S we need to win though!

I got back on the bench after busting my nuts at training for weeks, we won 3-1, i only played the last 15 minutes though but played well in the short time i was on so i was happy enough with it.
Will be seriously unhappy if i dont get in this weekend.

The opposition goal was class, our keeper went to hump it upfield under pressure from their forward and it smacked our right back on the ass and rolled in.

he was looking up at the forward line to see where it had went, "cos i put plenty of beef behind it", and hadnt realised it was in the back of the net!

Was our footie teams x-mas do on the Saturday night and we didnt cancel the match in time so we had to play, we were only playing bottom of the leauge so thought we'd be ok...... how wrong we were

Most players were still pissed at kick off and running round in random directions 2 had to go off to throw up, and we only drew 1-1

Not the best of games but it was funny

we drew 2-2 again

went 1 nil up and then conceded 2. Got a late equaliser.

I didn't score I did however have a row with the goalkeeper. One of his defenders sold him short and I slid in on him (went for the ball though). He got up and i thought he was going to punch me
