when i play upfront i prefer to drif out to the left and go towards goal from the left heading right if u get me, this allowes me to take a few touches inside and get a better shot off on my right foot.

thats what the manager was saying to me, come inside and get the crosses or shots in with your left.

Seemed to work well though

Never noticed this thread :S

I have recently joined a team with a load of my mates (already play for the team) but (partly because I asked not to) I have not played yet... want more time to learn the team etc but we lost 3-1 yesterday an they said I should play now!!

I play Central Defence BTW... I don't really like going forward :S Just stay bac

I just intend on being content with watchign for a while or being sub then if i get a chance to play then get in and try my best... not whinge when subbed etc

The team is Aston reserves... 3rd in the 3rd division... 1st team are 3rd from bottom I think in 1st division

I don't actually know colours of the kit etc but I think they get to pik numbers... I want 28 or 5/6... not many people want to play in defense for us apparnetly but I love it... Im 6 ft but not particularly strong but I love taking people out

how did we all do?

we won 4-1 and into round 3 of the cup

i played second half, was a bit quiet, but i set up our 4th goal.

neevr played against a bunch of cunts like them, they kept trying to knock lumps out of us, and they didnt like it when we gave it back to them. suprised there wasnt a fight though...really pissed me off but they were shit

Won 2-1 and went back top a'league

Managed to get on the score sheet then nearly broke me leg in the process. Ball was whipped across low from the left, i spun of my man and made a run for the back post, ball came through and i slid in to poke it home then carried on sliding into the post. Got a right bruise on me thigh now was worth it though as it was the winner, and got me off a fine for missing a one on one eariler on in't game
