Going down the remortgage route. Have been impressed with the speed and service so far considering I am not a previous Nationwide customer.
Signed up on Saturday and we had the survey yesterday. Got a text message saying the satisfactory survey is back and they will be in touch soon.
How long does the mortgage offer take to come out with them? Anyone with experience that could let me know that would be great

Mine is with them, couldn't fault them at all, used the save to buy and got my keys within 28 days of my application 
Plus I just got £1250 cash back yesterday from them

Yep, was updated with texts and emails at every stage of the process, really can't fault them.

Also can't fault them, applied on the 27th December and they'd approved me on the 2nd of Jan. best rate for me as well, got £500 off the fees for first time buyer too.

Got the mortgage offer text at 6am.
Some poor bastard was somewhere keying the info at that hour on a Monday.

This completes on the 6th August.
For the benefit if anyone searching I thought I would tie this thread off. Incredibly easy to deal with. Everything offered on an advised service. Great advisors. Sign up process very easy. Even with the new rules/requirements.
The free legals I took (I was fearing the worst) turned out to be very good. Survey was also free, and arranged quickly.
Well done Nationwide! Recommended.

I save with them and the service they provided when setting everything up was very good. Going to switch my current account to them too. It's reassuring to read that plenty of other people speak highly of them as well.
Glad you got all of your stuff sorted easily.

I'm with nationwide. Really came through for me when I was trying to get an ex off the mortgage. Opened up a current account with them and saved money on my mortgage too. Happy days
