Ive been reading up on doing the timing on my car, most of the topics ive read say that when the crankshaft pulley is line up with the marks its actually about 10 degrees out

can anyone clarify with pictures where the timing marks are to go.

Cheers Ant

All timing marks now lined up, no knocking noise. The car starts but only idles at 500rpm? and is spluttering when revving, like it has no power. Anyone know what this could be? Does it make a difference if cams are on oppositely?
