hdds as well as two ide cdroms?

you can only have a max of 4 channels over ide, you can add more using sata if your motherboard has it?

depends.

Take the case off and see how many spare conenctors on your cables you have.

You generally get 2 connectors per IDE cable, and generally a max of 2 cables per mobo.
If you have 2 Rom drives and 2 Hard drives you might struggle.

i have 4 hdds and 2 dvd roms, 2 cds and 2 hdds are running over ide, two hdds are running over sata.

i couldnt do this without the sata, or pci ide card

Backup stuff to DVDR and get all that pr0n off your HDD - saves faffing about and buying a new one.
