rite i gots me practical drivin test nxt week, already own a car (corsa sport 1.4) and its goin to cost me like 2500/3500 to insure it on my own.
so it look like im goin to have to put me dad as the main driver on it, so i can afford it, neway i rang sum insurance companies yesterday and they said tht me dad would hav to be the registerd owner of the car to be the main driver, is this true ??
and also is ther anyway tht me dad can protect his 4yrs no claims, if i crash it ??

Yep true about being the registered keeper, my Corsa is in my grans name so that I can use her 70% no claims bonus
I had the option of protecting it for an extra £140. If you don't protect then they usually take a percentage of the total of no claims you have
