Been having some serious overfuelling/lack of airflow problems for a coupel of weeks - shit at Idle, keeps cutting otu and pumping black smoke out like crazy

Neway I changed the Fuel Injector, Idle speed control motor, Map Sensor, and Air mass metre
but none of these changed nething

I had a ECU/Diagnostic check yesterday - first of all it bought up a load of issues - but then the only one that remained when it cleared was

"Throttle Position sensor - low voltage"

However looking at the T.P.S on the side of the Injector housing I cant see how u could possibly fix it - Ive put one on from a breakers but no change

ne advice????

Check the resitance on the loom between the ecu and the tps plug, and also it's always worth cleaning up all the ground points on the engine aswell.

I had this on my GSI befroe i fitted my Mantzel power box, i changed the throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, coolant temp sensor, cleaned all the earths etc etc, always the faul was there and always the same code 22, throttle position sensor low voltage, turned out to be a HUGE hole in the inlet track between the air box and throttle body, only found it when fitting the power box, the codes are a guide not a definitive answer
