I had this on my GSI befroe i fitted my Mantzel power box, i changed the throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, coolant temp sensor, cleaned all the earths etc etc, always the faul was there and always the same code 22, throttle position sensor low voltage, turned out to be a HUGE hole in the inlet track between the air box and throttle body, only found it when fitting the power box, the codes are a guide not a definitive answer

Check the resitance on the loom between the ecu and the tps plug, and also it's always worth cleaning up all the ground points on the engine aswell.
