how do i do that adi?

but you said it will show 1ohm, but the subs run at dual 2,4,8ohm will that be ok, coz the subs are wired as 2 ohm?? :confused:

not sure on the model but this is the spec

Mono subwoofer amplifier. Digital technology. 24dB/oct LP xover. Remote level control and display. 1 ohm stable. 1200w RMS at 2 ohms. 2400w peak


and in reply to your 1st post in this thred, i did have a system sorted, but crashed the car, sold the system, now starting over again,

right lets get this sorted once and for all.

2 of these subs
12" High excusrion subwoofer, 120oz double stacked strontium magnets , 700w RMS, freq response 20hz-500hz, efficiency 92.7db, foam surround, non pressed, non transfer paper cone, 2.5" 4 layer ASV voice coil, dual 4 ohm, 2ohm or 8 ohm operation.

and what amp wud i need to power them?? i will need 1400rms power out of it, and what do i need to look for? one that runs 1400rms at 2ohm or 1ohm or 4ohm??

So many ppl being sold by the lovely shiny flamed sub basket hey. Do as ya told and get subs that sound good not look good, lol

lol well i had audiobahn as my 1st and only subm, i thought it sounded good, but maybe i aint heard the best yet so i dont know different.

right then, them RE subs 200quid each, what amp to power them coz they work as 4ohm and are 600rms each.

anyone do me a diagram of the wiring, they are dual 4ohm subs, and iboth 600rms, so how are they wired, and what specs do i need on the amp, cheers lads, i'll try and stop pestering you after this.

right, me thinks i may have the answer, each sub is dual4ohm, on the re site it says wire them in parrell making the dual 4ohm into indapendance of 2.0, so both subs will have an indapendance of 2ohm?? which means i can use that rockky amp afterall coz its 1500rms at 2ohm?? or coz its 2 2.0ohm is that 4ohm?
