hi all, was on the phone to my local garage as i'm after a new starter motor for my 1.0 12v.

I got Quoted £20 labour for fitting it (pretty good)
but the Reconditioned part would be £197

Do you know where i can order a new one for cheap?

dont really have time to go down scrappy!

fucking hell, that is well expensive. i thought mine was expensive at £135 new but that is cos i have a japanease engine.
you can probably get one from a motorfactors for about 40 quid for petrol engined corsas from a motor factors

You will never get one for £40. I'd expect it to be easily over the ton.

thats the thing with parts like starters and alternators for some cars there cheap and others there bloody expensive
