Legal limit on the fronts is 70% .
Aparently you can tint the winscreen aslong as it lets in 85% light, dont quote me on that but thats what Ive been told.

But aslong as you let in at least 35% light in on the front windows you should be alright, thats what glass tint told me, but they are letting me have 33%?? So thats less light...... I decieded to say F*ck it and just get it.

Havent seen the tint your talking about, got any pics??

Nah glass tint wont do windscreen , wont even do a sunstrip.
They also wont right me a letter to say they are legal, but they say they wonldnt do anything that was illegal..... and the Police dont even know what the law is on them

IE... if im driving sensible 70mph on the motorway indicating when changing lanes etc..... then they wont stop me will they.

But if im driving stupid 90mph changing lanes, weaving in and out of cars etc..... then they gonna pull me for it and then notice the tints.

Basically there is a thin line between if they are legal or not, and nobody know for sure the right %... not even the police

So thought I may as well risk it

Romford Astra should know...... where is he??

do not touch the windescreen.

i got my tints done a while ago.
35% on front
25% on rear

and reversing is very difficult and visability has decreased a lot.

so do not touch the front it'll be leathal at night

Thats ment to say 20% on the BACKS.... sorry

IE... I either want 33% all round, or 33% front and the rest 20%.

20% on back with 33% on front willlook shit.

t'll be as if u got the rears tinted and left the fronts.

with 33% all round, the fronts will still look slightly lighter than the rears.
