a great thing about Alpines theft insurance which came with their units this year (the deal ended in march 2003 i THINK) is its only valid if you take the face out of the car, as you must send this back to get a new unit.

Also tinted windows help cause I *think* its harder to break through the window as the film binds it together, dunno how hard it is to get through the windscreen though :S ?

security tints are ur best bet, i had these fitted last year and have never loooked back.

I had an some scum try and smash my window to steal my ICE a few months ago, but the security tints held the window together long enough to detere him/them
