hello,
i have a finance sxi, and in my contract i am only aloud to do 10000miles a year.
i am going over that by quite a bit and i was wondering if there is a fuse in the fuse box if i disconnected it will stop the miles from going up.

cheers ears

somebody once told me that

just learn the speed via the rev counter and what gear ur in

just take the final drive of the end of the speedo cable and reconnect it.

Why don't you go to Vauxhall spares and buy a new speedo. It'll have zero mileage so it'll be like starting again.

It can be done in moderation. Obviously you wouldn't put a new clock in a 100k car, but one thats done 20k and planning on doing high mileage in the future.

Corsa C has an ABS type wheel sensor at the near side front, if you unplugged it you'd have no speedo. But then your EM light would come on storing a code for the wheel speed sensor.
