i started to get a kinda low pitched grinding noise today when braking...i checked ma discs and the offside disc is all scrathed on the inside. I kinda guessed i needed to get new pads when i seen this but will i have to replace the whole disc and how easy is it to change both the pads and the disc??

Piss easy. got a copy of haynes handy? and a tube of copper grease?

Change both discs and both set of Pads. In fact mate, go onto migweb.co.uk, and pick ur self up a set of Astra GTE calipers, discs and pads, and fit them.

you buy pads in a set of 4, so automatically u change all 4. Discs can be bought separately, but its advised to change both in most cases.

Copper grease goes on the calipers to reduce friction durin use
