Has anyone seen these before? Its basically a box with a load of drinks cans painted matt black, with the ends removed laying end to end in rows with a baffle/manifold at each end. Air is then forced through the box (normally by a solar powered fan) and its then warmed by the sun.

Has anyone tried this before? I'm seriously tempted to build one of these to keep the summer house from freezing over winter.

Seen similar used on static caravans by people wanting to live more off grid.

Seem to work well, but obviously limited in their use.
