I'd say it's pretty consistent. They're obviously better on the counter attack, home teams are supposed to attack, away from home you play on the counter.

Bloody frustrating though!

Good way to think about it. Although a style of play shouldn't be exclusive to away days if it's extremely effective

" went down like they'd been shot and and two second later running around as though nothing's a bother, it's cheating plain and simple and the referees do nothing about it, I'd be emabbaressed to see that from our players!"

Mainly that

I never once said that our player weren't guilty of it and Tiote should have been punished for that I was more trying to highlight that Aresnal players are persistent and until the learn to show a bit of fight rather than rolling about on the floor and whinging to the ref they will never win the league

The problem is that it's called "professinalism" nowadays, instead of just cheating.

Gotta admit, only just seen the red card, and it's pretty harsh, but he doesn't help himself, could of been off with 30 seconds against Swansea the other week for a stamp.

He's 20 and had 6 red cards already, seems he's going to be a target for refs

Don't get me wrong it's not that I want to see bone crunching tackles every time but there is absolutely no need to roll about feigning injury, if it was a foul they get a free kick regardless.

As for Mitrovic I was worried about his temperament before he even joined us and it looks like it was justified. Really haven't been imprssred with what I've seen of him so far and think you're right about him being a target for referees.

Rules would state that as a yellow card.

Just seen it the now; that's not a red card. It's late, but no worse than the majority of mistimed tackles we see week in week out.

I'm not filled with confidence by our performance in this game so far.

van Gael out, shit without De Gea, won't win anything, won't get out of the group stages in Europe, another trophyless season, too many forward players and not enough defenders

I would go as far to say as the title race is pretty much over already. Not sure what on earth is going on with my lot. Really bewildering.

You'd need more than Evans mate. Shocking defending.

Took longer than I thought for Romero to be found out tbh
Also, does Rooney not realise there are players who wish to take the ball from him? Twice he had good opportunities and fucked it with extra touches. He's half the player he once was.

He is still falling back in to midfield, now given all the midfielders we have signed I would say we have that area covered.

If you look at our defending options it is pitiful.

Was it the 11/12 season where he was on fire, scoring for fun? Then got injured? Since then he's not been the same attacking player. He does drop deep far too often, but then again the style of play LVG wants doesn't really help him at all.

United have been poor for a season and a half now, i'm just disappointed it's happened 2 days before deadline day as they may now splash the cash and buy a striker or defender, whereas if they'd won this match LVG might of just ignored it and carried on regardless

Can't remember but there was a season where him and Ronaldo were on fire.

They need to get DDG back in goals. He got them some vital points last season. Romero was called upon a couple of times in that game, and each time he looked awful.
I truly believe that if they don't get at least a striker, then they will struggle to maintain a CL spot. Selling Evans though must mean another CB is coming in. Surely
