Lukaku has the physicality to make him a nightmare for any defender on earth. He's built like a house, and aye he's unbelievably quick for his size If he can develop the movement and positioning the top strikers have, he could become one of the best. He's got big Dunc Ferguson helping him with using his sheer size though which can't be bad.

He is a cunt but god this is a good one:

quote:

Asked whether he was surprised that Pellegrini kept his job after City suffered a disappointing campaign in which they finished second behind Chelsea last season, Mourinho replied: “Why? Some other clubs, they are disappointed for 15 years and the manager is the same.”

Not sure if City were brilliant or Chelsea were awful.

Either way, impressive win again from city.

The reason Chelsea were awful was because City were brilliant. The 2 go hand in hand.

Vincent Kompany, 2 goals in 2 games. Mental

Looks like Otamendi is coming in and Mangala going on loan the other way. Paired with Kompany, that could be some defence.

Looks like Mangala might be staying. Valencia are doing the deal on Otamendi as they cannot afford to pay the fee for Negredo that is due.

They need Mangala to stay really, people seem to forget that CBs generally get better with age. 24 is really no age at all, he's a year or so ahead of Zouma, who I think will also turn into a very good CB in time

2nd game of the season and Liverpool are already paying off the refs shocking decision. Blatant offside.

Poor decision for the chalked off goal too tbh. Coutinho looks like he's off to a flyer this year though.

Pretty average performance, started well, ended ok, went absent in the middle period.

Should probably have won that, but Newcastle defended well

scored 2 let in non this season tells a story, a million times better defensively and in midfield than last season, but we need a good striker
