Sounds like they weren't making much off the offer on the lease deal in the first place, so they're certainly not going to accept your deal if it eats it the little profits they do make.

Either way, there's nothing difficult or arduous about lease deals; just don't walk in like a wet fish and use a bit of common sense.

Which dealer?

Also, they will happily take no profit to enable them to hit 1/4 targets as the volume bound will far outweigh profit on a deal.

You're hardly local to them, not surprised they weren't that interested. Probably don't see you as a long term customer. Ashton's aren't renowned in the network for customer service, merely pumping out cheap cars!

Why not try a local dealer?

Interestingly when I was stropping about astons not honouring that deal I rang Pentagons Vauxhall up, and told them what was going on they seemed quite surprised about their behaviour and said I wouldnt be receiving customer service like that from them, they also seemed to think they had some of the new vxrs in stock. Theyre ringing me back tomorrow

Wait, so one dealer reckons theyhave better customer service than the other? Be all over the papers in the morning that. Bet the change their tune when they have to deal with you though.
Stop pissing about with dealers anyway, ring a broker, tell them what you want, agree a price and let them deal with the rest, main dealers are almost always hopeless.

What I'm saying is you berk you claim to have ordered something now claim you haven't and they want to charge you more.

I did order something and I still have, I havent cancelled yet but I was when they wouldnt honour that quote.

Im speaking to that other place tomorrow to see what they offer, however if Astons do honour that original quote I will be sticking with them if there are no better offers, or cars in stock elsewhre
