I have ridden it. Not that quick mind. I do like how Rachel Atherton says you can't get flow and feel like you stop start.

EXACTLY like that

I haven't done the drop where you have to hop over rocks 6ft before mind

£1475 payment back from my insurance for the stolen bike. Which is £200 more than I paid for it.

So new bike time, possible 2 choices

Merida 140 5 b

Or

Canyon nerve AL 7.0

I don't see why this is bothering you so much. They also have a 17.5 in the shop or they did last weekend but hey, I will go by what you say. Sold out.

Got a road bike a few days ago and as much as the tyres are fine on the road I dont really trust them on bridle paths etc. Anyone got any recommendations for tyres?

Went to do a short route near Keswick today, ended up deciding to cut into the skiddaw trail about 100m from the top then descend that all the way back to Keswick for 4 miles. Weather was awful with low cloud, rain and wind couldn't really see anything at all. Good descent though, very steep in places and the be back to Keswick was easy to ride and very fast. I would definitely do that again in better weather.
